Breakfast Club/After School Club

Breakfast Club

The school runs a Breakfast Club every morning in the dining hall.

The doors open at 8.00 am

There is a charge of £2.50 payable via ParentPay. You can also pay in advance for a number of days. There is no need to pre-book, just turn up on the day.

Entry to Breakfast Club is directly from the playground into the dining hall where a member of staff will register them. Children must be brought in to the dining hall, please do not drop them off at the gate. Once the children have arrived in the hall they must stay there until it is time for them to line up or be taken to class.

Breakfast menu:

A choice of cereals – Weetabix, Shreddies or Cornflakes served with semi-skimmed milk

Breakfast is available throughout the session. After the children have eaten there will be a range of activities for them to choose from - games, drawing, jigsaws, construction materials like Lego. There will also be the opportunity for them to complete homework or read with an adult if they would like to. The activities will vary each day and we will talk with the children about what they would like to do.

Children in Key Stage 2 will be sent into the playground in time to line up with their classes, children in Reception and years 1 and 2 will be taken to their teachers at the correct time.

Please inform a member of the Breakfast Club about any allergies.

After School Clubs

FREE AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS

At Hannah Ball School we offer a range of free after school clubs to pupils which we believe celebrate our diversity and inclusion for all.

Our clubs usually start straight after school and finish at 4.00 pm, when pupils are dismissed from the Main entrance. Parents can wait for their Children outside the School Office and must be collected promptly at 4.00 pm by a parent or a designated adult (18+)

Club Rules - by signing your child up for a club you are agreeing to the following

  • Your child will attend every week (excluding illness)
  • Appropriate clothing should be worn (for instance a PE kit for Dance or Athletics)
  • Your child will be collected on time at 4.00 pm (please be aware, that late collection will be recorded and if this happens more than twice, the place may be forfeited and given to another pupil)
  • Exemplary behaviour by pupils at clubs
  • To have fun!

Letters for club sign-ups are usually sent home near the end of term and new places are allocated at the start of each term.
